On December 12, 2023, a meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the headquarters of the Educational Research Institute and online. We invite you to read the summary and photo gallery of the meeting.
The Scientific Council meeting was attended by:
- Arkadiusz Jablonski, Ph.D., D.Sc., Professor of the Catholic University of Lublin, Chairman of the IBE Scientific Council,
- Prof. Robert T. Ptaszek, Ph.D., D.Sc., Director of the Institute of Educational Research,
- Dr. Jakub Koper, Deputy Director of the Institute for Finance and Development,
- Dr. Paweł Gondek, Ph.D., D.Sc., Professor of the Catholic University of Lublin, Deputy Director of the Institute for Academic Affairs,
- Ireneusz Baranowski, Deputy Director of the Institute for the Integrated Qualifications System,
- Michal Przymusiński, Deputy Director of the Institute for the Digitization of Education and Science.
as well as the Presidium and other members of the Scientific Council of the Educational Research Institute.
The meeting was held in a hybrid format. During the meeting, the Council gave its opinion on amendments to IBE’s Statute and Activity Plan. The directions of changes to IBE’s Organisational Regulations were also discussed.
The results of research recently conducted and publicised by IBE's International Research Team were presented to the Scientific Council:
- Olga Wasilewska presented the main results of the International Civic and Citizenship Education Study (ICCS 2022),
- Joanna Kazimierczak discussed the main results of PISA 2022 (Programme for International Student Assessment).
